Privacy policy

AIpressr is a small AI-industry wire service operated by Fluency Digital Inc. We try to collect as little personal data as possible, and to be clear about what we do collect. If anything below is unclear or you want your data removed, write to hello@aipressr.com.

What we collect

  • Account information: if you sign in, your email address (used as the magic-link login identifier) and an optional display name or handle.
  • Submission information: if you submit a paid release, the content you submit and the billing data Stripe collects on our behalf (we never see your card details).
  • Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, referer, timestamps), retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and debugging.
  • Analytics: aggregate visit data via Google Analytics 4 (cookie-based, described in our Cookies policy).
  • Press-contact directory: public-record contact data for journalists who cover AI. Any listed journalist can claim or remove their own row.

How we use it

To authenticate you, deliver the service you asked for (publishing a paid release, sending a magic-link email, etc.), understand aggregate traffic, and prevent abuse. We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not run advertising trackers on the site.

Third-party services we rely on

  • SMTP2GO — sends magic-link sign-in emails and admin notifications.
  • Stripe — processes paid-release payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the checkout flow.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site analytics. See Cookies.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and edge security in front of the site.
  • DeepInfra and Anthropic — large-language-model inference used by our editorial writer/reviewer pipeline. We send them article text from public third-party sources (and, for paid submissions, your submitted content), not user account data.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. EU/UK users have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) and California residents have CCPA rights (know, delete, opt-out of sale — we don't sell data either way). Email hello@aipressr.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Paid-submission records are kept for seven years for tax/accounting purposes. Server logs are kept up to 30 days. Analytics retention follows Google's default (14 months for event data).

Children

AIpressr is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and refresh the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
