Cookies policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

AIpressr uses a small number of cookies. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The categories below describe everything we set or that our third-party services set on our behalf.

Essential (sign-in)

When you sign in, we set a NextAuth session cookie (next-auth.session-token or equivalent) so the site can recognize you across pages. It lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out, whichever comes first. Without this cookie you can still read the public feed but you can't sign in or submit a release.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns. GA4 sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> (we use measurement ID G-7YF038TQ2Q). These help us count unique visitors and basic session metrics. They do not identify you personally to us. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or using your browser's “block third-party cookies” setting.

Security / edge

The site sits behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a short-lived __cf_bm bot-management cookie or a cf_clearance cookie if you trigger a security challenge. These are used to distinguish humans from automated traffic and to keep the site available.

Paid checkout

If you submit a paid release, Stripe sets its own cookies during the checkout flow to process the payment securely. See Stripe's cookie settings for details.

What we don't do

  • No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no third-party ad networks.
  • No social-media share trackers on article pages.
  • No selling or sharing of cookie data with data brokers.

Your controls

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the NextAuth cookie will sign you out; blocking the GA4 cookies will exclude you from our analytics. Everything else on the site continues to work either way.
